AA President Edmund King has urged the government to cut the price of fuel, “If ever there was a time for something to be done about the high cost of fuel, it’s now” he said.
The average price is now falling around the 136.07p per litre and AA are stating that it should be at least 2p cheaper a litre based on falling oil prices, whilst a Tesco have connected the drop in its sales directly to the fuel costs as families cut food bills to pay for the extra cost at the pump.
There has been no comment from the government, in relation to a fuel stabilizer.
