Good News for the end of 2010

The good news for the end of this year is the huge reductions in deaths on Britains road, over recent years the reductions have been so significant that it has led the UK to be number one in the world for road safety.

The target for this year has achieved and it is estimated that over 2500 lives have been saved.

Record Breaking Day for the AA

Monday the 20th of December saw the busiest day for the AA Ever with around 3000 motorist being stranded every hour and the call out rate being nearly three times the average amount.

A typical Monday the organisation would receive around 10000 call outs and on the 20th there were a staggering 280000.

As always the message from the AA is think carefully before making a journey and make sure you are well prepared.
